htc Desire G7

On the htc desire G7 phone I know that it is possible to upload music or clips of music to it and set it as a ringtone but can anyone tell me if and how you can save it as a "Notification" sound, I know it is possible on the Desire HD but I cant see how to do it on the G7

Afternoon. Have you tried downloading "Ringdroid" from the Android marketplace? I believe you can edit most notifications with that. Let us know how you get on.

Once again thanks for the advice Ed. I downloaded "ringdroid" and it would only let me save most files as ringtone but not notification sound, however I found a similar app called "aring" which allowed me to set what I wanted as a notification sound so good work Ed I owe you a drink!!

"Aring," will keep that mind. Whoever stumbles on this thread from Google with the same problem owe you a drink actually!
