I read Dear Fatty - Dawn French a couple of months ago, I was a bit disappointed with it. I read it to the end but I was glad when I'd finished it. (I never or very rarely put a book aside without finishing it) I have one of Patrick O'Brien's - author of Master and Commander but it's very slow going and hard to get in to.
