When the European Community takes in more eastern wasters including Chechnya our country will surely be an enhanced and better place.

It is a 'tradition' to kidnap a bride and press her into marriage with (apparently) a smelly, uneducated, $h!te grovelling peasant.

Just like thieving, begging etc Britain will then be culturally a better place to live we are assured.

Lets hope we can make room for them all.

"Coming to a town near you."
Round here we have Romanians selling Big Issue. Talk about taking our out-of-work jobs.
I have recently been watching the programmes on BBC4 regarding the middle ages etc.

It amazes me that we still have beautiful churches/cathedrals, beautiful books written by the scholars of the time, and the beautiful jewellery that was hand-crafted all those years ago.

This is England's heritage and got me wondering what will happen to all this, when England is no more.
you won't see Chechnya in the EU any time soon, so you can stop panicking.
Thank God I'm emigrating...
Fooking kinell ,dont talk about the couples on here like that...

I watched it, fascinatingly awful. Chechnya is however a long way off - nowhere near the EU border, don't worry yet kinell.

That programme infuriated me. All a disgusting no-hoper has to do is drag an unknown woman off the street, imprison her overnight and the "stigma" of her being abducted will be enough to force her to marry him. Some parents will rescue, others will not. 40 per cent of marriages happen like this in Chechnya and more still in Kyrghystan.
Worst of all is the imam who presided over such weddings. He assured us that bride stealing is forbidden in Islam (anyone?) but when asked how he married his wives, he giggled like a child and we discovered that he got married by kidnapping women too. Little s**t. Thankfully there are women's groups who are fighting the terrible practise, but as the newly installed president is whining about the dangers of "uncovered" women, there is little hope at the moment of Chechnya coming out of the Dark Ages.
Is Chechnya on the list to join the EU??? If it is, I can imagine the hefty hoofing in the balls British women would give any of these abductors.
It seems Borat's wedding sack was not the stuff of fiction after all.
What worries me more than "Chechnya joining the EU" is the level of debate such fascinating documentaries inspire in dumb Britain.
