Have a Sky+ box to receive programmes but don't pay any subscription to Sky, just get the main 5 terrestrial channels and the Sky freebies, like Sky news, BBC 24 and some other obscure stuff.

Recently haven't been able to receive a lot of these channels and the BBC text access to multiscreen news and sport comes up with the same message, No Satellite Signal Being Received.

Question: Is it the Sky Dish at fault, or the Sky Box or what? Any ideas?

I also use a Sky+ box with no Sky subby and have no problems. Try unplugging the Sky box for a few mins then re starting.

You can get many more channels than the ones you list eg ITV2,3&4, film 4 etc etc. Go thru them one by one and add them to your faves.

Thanks for that Mattk, I'll try it, we do get many more channels ITV2,3 &4 etc, but it's the rolling news ones that are most missed.
