Does anyone know the cheapest place for dry cleaning a double duvet? The local dry cleaner charges £10. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a chain e.g, Sketchleys or a supermarket one. Thanks

Thanks bedknobs. I will keep this one though as it was expensive.
ok then, have you thought about asking at your local laundrette? Not dry cleaned as such, but washed and dried
They're expensive to dry clean because dry cleaners don't like doing them! They absorb a lot of solvent and it's hard to get rid of it all from the duvet - health hazard unless it's totally removed. I prefer to have it washed and dried.
I've got a beautiful Goose Down king size and every year about June time I take it to the laundrette. In one of their big machines then tumble dry it. Comes up like new.
I pay the lady a couple of quid to do it for me.£6.50 last year.
