Anyone had this operation? I am having this done this week. I bit nervous. I am wondering what I will be able to do after the op. I play golf and go to a keep fit class. I expect I shall have to keep my head still for a while, anyone know ?

My Mum had both eyes done, a few weeks apart. She didn't need her reading glasses afterwards and was thrilled. I don't know if this is true for everybody, but she came out of it really well.
I have had both eyes done - a totally painless experience. No need to be nervous. For the first week or two you will have to insert drops and, if I remember correctly, avoid lifting heavy weights. Probably best to avoid golf and keep fit for a week to ten days but your consultant will advise you on this,
As above, my Dad had both eyes done and was really pleased with the result - no glasses needed and back to normal pretty quickly- just had to remember the drops. No need to worry and no need to keep head still, either!
