I got beaten at bowling today.

I took NoM, and my three kids to the bowling alley as a night out for us. NoM whooped my ass. My 9 year old daughter made me look like I had never bowled in my life. My 7 year old son got more points than me, even whilst he was experimenting to see if the ball would bounce down the ailse and doing ninja impressions after each shot. Even my 4 year old showed the world that she has already surpassed her father in manly-sports ability.

So my question to you, my fellow Abers, is this:
Should I give up now, and take up knitting? Or should I try to prove my testosterone qualifications by having an arm wrestle with my daughters, challenging my son to a powerlifter competiton, and taking NoM on at the noble art of peeing-whilst-standing-up???

you shouldve used one of those kiddies bowling ramps on wheels; might've stood a fighting chance then!

To be fair, the kids did use tjose occaisionally, and they did have the barriers up on the second round, otherwise I would have beaten the little sods. As for NoM, well she had a mispent youth, hanging around bowling alleys and the like!!

BM, problem with that plan, is that NoM refuse to drive my car (apparently it's too big and powerful for a little lady), so I couldn't partake in the consumption of the magic elixir that is beer.
Jeez, what do you drive? If you say "Maserati" NoM can stay in and I'll bloody drive!!!!!

Occasionally I'll take the Bentley for a spin, or if I'm feeling particulary flash I'll commute in the Bugatti, but for this evening trip it was the mightiest of all mighty's, Mazdy the Mazda (as named by my kids)
lol - it's not too big for her to drive! She just wouldn't be seen dead driving it........
