Yesterday morning I got up and went to finish my biology coursework (due in monday) but the computer wouldn't save it then it completely crashed, so i had to do another hours work on it today. So then the computer wouldn't turn on properly so he had to completely wipe it and start again. So everything not on a memory stick was lost. But this took ages so we tried putting my stick into the laptop, but then realsied we had a newer evrsion of microsoft on the PC so the coursework wouldn't open. So dad put the newer version on there. But it turns out that doing system restore etc etc has fixed the PCs other problem. When you turned it on, you had to hope that it wanted to, and usually if you presssed f8 then it would, but that wasn't guaranteed, but it's come on first time ever since.

This was all be fore 10.30 as that's when we went down to the cadet boatshed. We had to move an 18ft rowing boat from inside the boatshed, into the water (about 40 or 50 ft). After that we had to get the powerboat working. TYPICAL two men were trying to get it to start. First of all they'd put no diesel in the engine, 2nd try then they had the emergency stop button turned on but nobody realised this until they did attempt number 3, the manual way with the handle, but then they hadn't turned the switches on the engine the right way so for attempted number four they just about managed it, with womans help.

Then at 11.45 I got picked up to go to do Oliver. But we had no food in the house so i had to go inside tescos and buy food for lunch and extra stuff for mum today as i only had got her something little by then. But then when we were eating our lunch, there was me, a guy (who plays mr bumble) and two other girls. The older of the two other girls (16) said that the guy on the piano is 'hot' (which I supose he is). But the younger of the two girls went 'aww what about 'mr bumble' ?' to which for some reason i said 'he's all cuddly' and maybe something else :P

Bears out the point made yesterday, molly - never keep your work only in one place on the computer. I've just finished a major piece of work - it's stored on the computer, backed up onto the external hard drive, AND saved on a memory stick. I hope you learn from this, never only have one complete copy!
How long much longer is Oliver lasting, Molly?
eggs and baskets springs to mind
morning molly ,you can have a rest soon got 2 weeks off , hope you have a quiter day today , when does the play finish

But then i realised how it sounded, so i went red. So the older of the two girls said 'OMG you fancy 'mr bumble' !' So i tried to cover it up by saying how he hugs everyone, but to be fair, this girl does say that about everyone 'mr bumble' hugs or talks to but . . . :P

Then we had to do a performance which was quite good, then we had a couple of hours break before we had to get ready for the next show. During this time 'that' girl wouldn't stop smiling at me, I'd convicned 'mr bumble' that I don't fancy him, but not her.

Boxtops Would you mind reading it again re the coursework, the computer was crashing so wouldn't save my work I did yesterday morning so I'm now redoing the evrsion from last week.

Todays the last show.

Then last nights show was amazing, with some last minute added improvisation including a 'drunk' going into the audience and sitting down to a woman that normally chaperones and singing the oompapa chorus to her. Which was hilarious.

And todays the last show and there's a party afterwards. but i gotta go back to cadets at 10.30 again to have my photo taken with other cadets and the powerboat we're trying to raise money to save. After a radio appeal a professional photographer said he'd take and sort out photos of us and the boat for free to help.
Yes molly - and I read it yesterday as well, there is no need to be quite so rude - you save as you go along, it's only common sense - saves you having to retrieve and redo. Have you got an external hard drive back-up? - it's well worth it, particularly for when you start doing your university work.

I'm so glad that the show has gone so well for you - there is great satisfaction from being part of a show well done, where the audience go away pleased every night!

And btw - welcome to the world of busy weekends - when you work full-time, the weekend is the only time you get to do all these things!

I don't consider some of you friends seeing as I don't actually know you . . .
And yet you are quite happy to bore a forum full of strangers with the minutiae of your life........?

There are two types of people, molly, those who enter a crowded room by throwing open the door and crying "Here I am !" and those who do so by saying " Ah ! There you are !"............which, do you wonder, is generally the one better thought of ?
Aww, come on guys ... Molly just comes on here for a chat.
wow..................... what an opening post.

Has anyone read it?
Alfie ... no, don't be daft ... it's way too long.
