Hi Squsal, sorry I hadn't checked back and seen your reply.
Good to know she can have the ranitadine at that dose for quite a while. She just refuses the omeprazole however we disguise it, even tried splitting it into 2 smaller doses.
Weaning is going a little better in that she's taking first stage weaning foods twice a day without all the choking and tears. Sometimes the sickness is much worse and sometimes it's just the same as it ever was. This is my second child with reflux type problems - my eldest tried every medication with no success, so i feel out of my depth a bit with the meds. Back to see the cons. next Friday - he was talking about a barium meal being the next step if weaning didn't improve the situation.
