Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Over the last couple of weeks there have been a few users complaining about certain editorial decisions and others demanding to know the names of user moderators. This is becoming rather tiresome so I thought I would address these issues here.

As always, I will start with a phrase that I so often find myself repeating.

"All editorial decisions are final. The editorial team will not enter into discussion concerning the decisions they make".

The large majority of AnswerBank users understand this, which we at AB Towers are extremely grateful for. There are some people, however, who think they are above the system we have in place and continually question user suspensions and post removal (often their own). When these folk are told not to complain we begin to see swathes of posts that go something like this:

"I didn't even do anything!"

"My post was fine, I said nothing wrong!"

"Am I not allowed an opinion? What about my rights?!"

"Stop keeping me down, maaaaaaan."

This is usually interspersed with pseudo-babble about the theory of the separation of powers and quotes like "Who will watch the watchers?". I start to get the impression that some of you are nurturing the idea of a great political struggle with the Eds. Although this notion must seem quite charming and Winston Smith-esque to you, I would like to say that the editorial team view it differently.

Thanks, Ed.
It must be a nightmare moderating this site and all in all you and the team do a good job.
This a great FREE site for us and those that don't like it can simply stop logging on.
I, too, am fed up of the whinging and those who believe their rights come above their responsibilities.
Sadly a site like this that tries its best to curb bullying, bad language and overtly sexual discussions is a rare commodity in the world wide web.

Thanks for all your efforts to make this the useful, interesting and fun site that it is.
