Ive been asked to do a reading at my sisters wedding, not sure if its during the ceremony or the reception but im totally honered that she has asked me. The only thing is im not sure where to start or even if i could do it without being a blubbering mess throughout, i get teary eyed just thinking of my sisters wedding day! Im hoping that there are some readings online or something that are more witty and funny than sentimental etc so that i dont ruin it by sobbing through it and looking a fool but i dont know where to start. Its either that or lots of jagerbombs beforehand i think lol. Any ides/suggestions? Thanks

What about this from Pam Ayers:

Have you got time to write a poem? I'm sure she would love it and you could make it personal to her and her husband
Wouldn't a reading be just that, something read out at church? Something you did yourself would be a speech wouldn't it?
Whatever you choose, don't choose this: http://www.blupete.co...re/Poetry/Leisure.htm
