Hope I'm in the right category.
Can anyone answer the following questions:
How far is the round the island jog?
Is it possible to not follow the guide and go your own way?
Why does the guide keep waving at me?

Thanks in advance

It depends on how fast you run but its probably about 10-15 mins from memory. If you do it in free running mode it'll tell you the exact distance. I think they just wave to encourage you to keep up. If you run really fast and overtake your guide it'll get replaced by another one that takes you a different route - so you can't exactly choose your own but you can change it each time by overtaking your guide at different points on the route.

Thanks for your answer.
It takes me about 11 minutes but I wanted to know the distance. Is there any way of finding out?
If I overtake my guide he just runs faster and overtakes me again. Do I have to overtake at a certain point? (too many overtakes in that sentence!!)
Once you unlock free running mode it keeps track of the distance and that's the only way to know. I've not done it for a while so can't remember I'm afraid.

For the overtaking, you have to overtake and stay overtaken for about a minute then you get a new guide - if you struggle with the exertion then just shake the remote up and down vigorously!
Oh and sometimes the new guide is actually one of the doggies so try it when one of them has just run past you :)
