my cousin is expecting twins.
On her first scan they thought it was triplets but it is just the two she is expecting.
I just wondered if any answerbankers have had multiple births?.
Also what the highest number is for an answerbanker? any parents of triplets or even quads ?.

Hi, I have (almost) three year old twins, a five year old, a seven year old and a ten year old. It's not as hard as you might think.
are they 2 shadrak lol x
I have twins, grown up now. Take my hat off to you Sherrardk, I found it very hard work and I only had one older child when they were born!
Lots of twins in our family - my grandmother was a twin, I have twin cousins, twin nephews and a cousin has twins too. I have 2 boys 13 months apart and the general consensus is that that is worse than twins, but obviously people can only go by their own experiences. My OH was horrified at the thought if us having twins, especially identical as they creep him out!!!!
Ha ha Annie, it freaked us out a few times when we half woke up to find the lads (about 3 years old at the time) standing at opposite sides of our bed, just staring at us!
My first pregnancy was twins, I miscarried one very early on and eventually gave birth to a daughter after a troubled pregnancy.
I know slinky - my nephews used to stand together holding hands and speaking in unison - it was quite creepy, so I get where he was coming from. Most kids do night time thing though, I have woken quite a few times as the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end only to find a toddler (one of mine!) standing beside the bed staring at you. Bad enough when one does it - imagine is it worse with two!!!
My daughter never did that Annie, and yes it was unnerving, that eye level, silent gaze!
They would also quite often be playing together, totally engrossed in whatever toy, then suddenly get up as one without any discernable communication, and go off to do something else together.
My nephews would stand together holding hands and speak together "we need a snack now" I think they struggled to see themselves as unique people even though they weren't dressed identically or anything. They grew up perfectly fine and are in their early 30's now and not weird in the slightest.
Hi congrats to your cousin I have identical twin boys who are 20 and 18 year old boy girl twins not to miss out my eldest who is 23. Hard work but you get on with it. Getting out and about was fun eldest had to hold onto twin pram handle while the boys were attached at each side via reins to the handles and other set in the pram, got a lot of attention.. Hubby is a non-identical twin and my uncle on mums side has identical girls.
My friend had triplets, identical boys. They are in their 20s now, still remarkably alike.
I was a twin but he died 12 hours after birth. We were born 34 years ago 11 weeks premature and my mum had no idea there were 2 of us until I was born and they said there's another coming! I was quite the medical miracle then and they said I would never walk but they were wrong. It took me 2yrs but now I'm as normal as anyone else (sort of)!!! Thought I may have twins myself but I guess one of my kids will.
I'm glad it's not just me that gets a bit disturbed by twins (Annie that sounds so creepy!). I'm sure in practice it'd be fine but I was always grateful at scan time to find out there was just one in there.
I have had twins, and I have one bit of advice for your cousin that I wish someone had told me-everyone is only too willing to tell you how bad it is going to be from now on in every way, tell her not to listen to them!Every pregnancy/birth/upbringing can be different, just cos someone had a bad time, she might not.Enjoy what she can when she can and do things the way she wants!
Good luck
Aya
