Is there any definative evidence that drinking cold water as opposed to room temperature water is bad for you? A quick google search seems to throw up conflicting arguments.

Ooh, that sounds rather nice to me. I might do it anyway (ice cube insertion) - prevention is always better than cure ;-)
salla...after my hip replacement I developed painful piles and my mate adviced an operation.........I refused.

So.....I was given St Mark´s Dilators to insert, well lubricated twice daily and well lubricated.
These dilators are like glass Russian dolls which one had to insert in ever increasing sizes and initially it was painful even to insert the small one.

After a time it became easier and what was becoming increasingly worrying was that I was beginning to look forward to my twice daily insertions........so at that point, I gave up.
Ah yes - the Russian Doll story!!

We got told off a while ago for laughing at you about that one.
Actually Sqad - I fully understand. I got a kick once when inserting Replens :-)
It's a funny old world. You start off treating piles and end up discovering a whole new seat of pleasure.
Back to drinking water - I like my drinks to be ice cold - mainly Pepsi Max, Lemonade and tap water.

If you are greedy person like me and have consumed far too much cold drink it can hurt your tummy - cramps. Eating far too much ice cream does this too.
Apart from the brain freeze I wouldn't think its bad for you.
