Has anyone else noticed that on our page there's an inordinate number of diet ads? Do they think we're all in need of losing weight?

Where?

I fed one of my cats low calorie cat food for his breakfast - he snaffled it all up and then snaffled up all his sister's breakfast. I think that he, like me, is a lost cause.
The ads are clever, they know what we're typing about. I've only got one just now, Weightwatchers.
Oh look gastric hypno bands?? >>>>>>
The advertising system automatically picks up on the content of posts.

Trt posted a question referring to 'calories' earlier this evening, so the system is currently delivering ads for diets. If somebody later posts a question mentioning 'hotels' or 'flights', the ads will change to become travel-related.
<shrugs> lol
Ooh Yes - I didn't notice that. Mainly because I don't normally read the adverts, although I know they pay for the site. Well, Clare, there are an awful lot of obese people about - a little bit more and I shall join the ever-growing throng. It is supposed to be an on-going problem for the NHS. Wouldn't mind trying that Dietchef with meals already done for you, but that is because I am lazy. This is making me feel hungry, might go and get a small snack.
PS: As Naz's post indirectly indicates, it's possible to view this site without the ads (which means that the pages load much faster). You simply need to use Firefox as your browser, with the AdBlock Plus extension installed.
Ha these ads make me think about Jemisa's joke a couple of weeks ago about the Purina dog food diet.

... or Chrome, or Safari. ;-)
It's still the 'New Year Resolution' season as far as the advertising industry goes.
I need to lose weight with or without adverts.
Never mind the "diet nonsense" - get rid of the "ad nonsense". It's been pointed out above how to do it - then you'll be ad-free. Isn't science wonderful- not to mention a little know-how?
I'm obviously looking at too many holidays cos I have a massive BA advert on my screen
just because we sit here all day they think we are fat!!
im usually not even aware of the ads..............not much good to AB then am i ?
I agree anne - they are there, but like so much static, I hardly ever notice them.
