Product description...The FitFlop sandals footbed is made of multi-density EVA, which is a type of odour-free (and non-absorbent) foam that is used in many type of footwear. The outsole is currently made of rubber. The footbed does not contain any leather or other animal products. Note that some people have complained about the colour coming off onto their feet. For what they are, they are also utterly overpriced.

Thanks heathfield, I have two pairs so far in different designs and they are heaven to wear. But I wondered how soft the leather is, on the upper, as I don't want a pair that have to be 'worn in', just soft to start with ! Yes they are expensive but last year i didn't wear anything else (on my feet) all thru spring and summer so i think I get my money's worth.I want some new ones for a change this year although they don't seem to wear out .. I wear their trainers in the winter too, most days. They make sandals for men too heathfield .. so don't knock them till you try them ! :)
