Way back in the early 1970's, on Radio Luxembourg, they played a slow haunting song that I never ever found out who sang it. The lyrics went something like :-
"Way up there, must be someone watching over me
must be someone watching out for me,
Way up there"
Can anyone tell me who it was. It's not by Patti Labelle, Shorty Rogers nor The Charlatans. After all this time, for some reason it's still stuck in my memory.

Was it a male singer, female singer, group? Soul, rock? It certainly wouldn`t be The Charlatans because they weren`t around then. I used to listen to Radio Luxemburg in the late 70s. I have very fond memories of it.

It was a male group or duo.
A long time ago, on searching the web I found a foreign web page untranslated that gave a duo's name, either dutch or german I think, but cannot find it now.
Carlene Carter- Guardian Angel?
