I am flying to Buenos Aires for a 2 week holiday in April.

Do I need any kind of visa?

Also, my passport runs out in September, will that be a problem?

Assuming you have a UK passport - then no you don't need a visa. You fill in an entry card on the plane and hand it back when leaving.

I'm pretty sure (though not 100% - there are conflicting sources) that you need 6 months on your passport to visti Argentina - so yes it might be a problem

http://uk.visacentral...adCirRequirements.pdf seems to be the most authoritative source - it says 6 months.
I would have thought that the most authoritative source would be Argentinian Embassy's website!

See 'Passport validity' here:

Interesting.

My firewall warns of dire consequences if I use that website.......

I do recall phoning the Argentine Embassy a few years back with this self same question and being told 6 months. I wasn't convinced at the time they understood the question though. Or at least not the guy I talked to.
