Since it is now becoming obvious that the Muslims will only act against certain individuals and establishments, when their wrong doings are found out by undercover exercises such as this one?

Should the Government now take stronger measures against these Islamic faith schools, that condone assaults against their pupils, and the teaching of intolerance towards non-Muslims and other faiths?

According to the report there are at 2,000 such schools in Britain, so the problem could be much more widespread than already discovered.

I thought "Incitement" was against the law in this country - although it appears there are two sets of laws here. I shall be watching Channel 4 tomorrow
So, what's wrong with a bit of corporal punishment in schools? Never did me any harm, did it?
I agree with you eyethekyew, but its the intolerance that needs to be stamped out.
So, the reporter was not allowed to sit in on Islamic classes, and filmed intermittently over a period of months. That's a bit like going round taking snapshots of someone at intervals and then saying "Look, this is their life" ... it doesn't tell the whole story.

The two schools in Birmingham and Keighley have both said they will look at the evidence and take appropriate action.

Looks like a bit of a stretch and some stirring to get that headline out of the story.
eyethenyew - are you being serious? Or ironic? It's hard to tell in print - could you clarify if you are serious that corporal punishment has done you no harm?
Did him no harm - It turned him into a duck

It's a goose innit?
"Anyone who says CP at school damages a pupil in some way is a silly wimp. "

Yeah, those stupid limp-wristed yoghurt knitters. We need more violence against children.

Andy: At this point, I'm pretty sure ETY is some student having a laugh :P
Hate to rain on your right on liberal parade but CP used correctly does not damage - it builds character. Not tha tyou wrip wristed lot know that.

Back to the post. AOG. This investigation serves only to show that what many of us have said is true. However th erponse of the liberal left says it all - effectively you are lying or at best twisting the truth. - Jokers.
the teaching of intolerance is absoluetly wrong and this article shows the severity of instances whereby hard line conservative and intolerant attitudes are being drilled into young kids using religion erroneously as reasoning. It's the reason many Christians are against homosexuality and fearful of other religions, fortunatley in England's Christian schools, this is very much an antiquated stance. Hopefully, the British laws which promoted this change in attitude towards tolerance, will help to filter these hate-preachers out of Muslim schools as well.
We can not afford to tolerate this intolerance.
Smash violence !
It just reinforces what we already know about the Islamic religion. They are all brainwashed and the minority cannot handle it and turn to terrorism. Anyone who can volunteer to be a suicide bomber must be heavily indoctrinated especially as the instructor remains alive and do not offer to commit suicide themselves.

Surely a case for now doing away with faith schools and make them all attend English establishments. The catholics would also have to put up with it!

I'm trying to write this as politely as I can because I really, really, hate it when people try and point-score over this - but could you -please- read through what you write? Badly written posts seriously do undermine what you're trying to say - particularly when you're talking about schooling.

If CP builds character when done properly, what does it do when done improperly?
Secondly, what do you mean by 'character-building'? I've yet to see anyone actually tell me what the substance to this phrase actually is.

..in your humble opinion ? no of course not, everything you say is true :-/
I think goosing goes beyond corporal punishment BOO. :)
