What do people think of this type of show, how does he know everything?? by finding out ticket details? and researching the names?

I notice regards his recent tour the small print by theatres states:

"Evening of mediumship are not scientifically proven and are presented for education and entertainment purposes only"

Never heard of him
Is he the one that resembles Paul O'Grady?
He used to have a TV programme on Living - it did look quite impressive, but who knows what they edit out...

I'd be interested to go watch him live - where's he going to?

I've only seen a couple of bit's on tv but now I see he is doing a tour with his show, and I wonder how he does what he does live?
Only one way to find out...
These people have a tendency to be pretty vague, but they prey on desperate people who will clutch at any straw and make the most tenuous connections to a loved one. I think it's all pretty cynical and cruel tbh.
ummmmmm....FIGHT...?!!!!!! lol
Well said karen.

yes I think it is cruel, even worse are those phone lines that weak people get addicted to, they can't live the house without ringing one to ask what the day will hold, I just don't understand how people could be convinced about such rubbish...
A fraud of the highest order IMO
it is. but if people walk away feeling like they have contacted uncle fred and he is happy and fine, and has left a large brown envelope full of cash under the floorboards, then perhaps it helps with the grieveing process, and gives them hope that if they behave through life they too could be like uncle fred. dead.
I have been to see him and Derek Acorah. Of the two, I would say that Fry is the more believable. However, unless you are the 'chosen one' you would not be able, IMO, to judge whether they are genuine or not. I have an open mind on the subject.
Google " Cold Reading". It's actually quite interesting how it's done.
Then take a look at the James Randi site to see how successful psychics are under controlled conditions. http://www.randi.org/...php/1m-challenge.html
Watch 'The Mentalist' and learn some of the tricks they use. They are also good psychologists and have excellent memories, besides having a couple of people planted in the audience. It is purely entertainment and nothing else.
ive been to his show. I do believe there are psychics out there but I have to say that the starting lines are so ambiguous that many people stand up. he then narrows it down to one person and continues. But there are then a lot of things that they cant contribute to their own lives so it can then seem a bit false.
My mum and my sisters said that there were a few readings that had bits of people we had lost in them.
