A Lasting Power of Attorney

Does anyone know a good site where I can see what a good example of a Lasting Power of Attorney looks like?

I have to see a solicitor about one and I have found it is very helpful to have seen 'something' before instructing someone to create 'something' for you.

Also, if you know of any 'pit-falls' it would be useful to hear them.

I am considering making some rough notes which I shall 'mention' to the solicitor.

Thanks for anyone who may be able to offer advice.

The blank form and guidance note can be downloaded from the OPG website (office of public guardian)

You don't need a solicitor BTW - it's perfectly legal to DIY.
As Dzug2 suggests, start here:

Thanks a million dzug2 and Buenchico,

Excellent advice. Just what I needed. And I will definitely look into doing it myself.
