He left me after accusing me of having an affair which I have denied and is not true, I got rather angry after having had some wine as he still did not believe me, I work as a chef and was working really long hours without a break which has caused his suspicion, however after our row fight we did not speak for 5 days and it was then he gave me his ring back and tried to force me out(rented flat). He has said he is no longer my husband and has left me to find another person to share the rent and bills which I know I will struggle with. Also today he has managed to lose me my job telling my employers I am untrustworthy as I had taken some crockery and he sent photographic evidence. Chefs all over always take something home and forget to take bowls and dishes back unintentionally. Anyway I had to leave and now have no income either. Where do I stand anyone know much about if he should be supporing me, Also he still has keys to the flat and i forgot to double lock the door and he has taken stuff he shouldnt. Thanks

Jane, this is awful. You need to see a solicitor. After what he has done, especially at your work, you are probably bet off without him. I hope that you can soon sort out this mess. Take care.

jane , contact CAB. for advice
get legal advice pronto. With your job - can you not sort it out with them

good luck x
oh and get the locks changed
Your boss sounds a bit severe, not letting you put your side of the story - it all sounds very odd to me. Seek legal advice a.s.a.p.
noone can lose you your job, why did you have tp leave your job? get into work and sort them out they need a good telling they do

No bosses said if they suspend me then there will be an investigation and poss police involvement, they will give me a reference though.
Jane if they give you a reference then at least you should be able to get another job. I was a bit worried about that fact.

Damn he keeps sending me texts and calling me all of which so far I have ignored as he just wants attention, one said how are you today wife love you, another says can we go somewhere nice for lunch and discuss me him and his dad, another said believe it or not I was deeply happy with you and suspect i will always love you.. another said are you spooked, Yes I am

''Something does not ring true here, I have worked as a chef and you would not get dismissed for taking a few bits of crockery home, and if you did there is no way they would give you a reference, as they have sacked you for theft. ''

what one company does under their discretion does not mean every company will do.
that is a bit narrow minded there.

If you do not wish to resolve any differences with him, then keep the texts and missed phone calls, log them, and if you have to, file a harrassment complaint.

look for another job asap and use that reference they are willing to give. you have obviously spoken to them and this is the final decision you and your employer came to, so use their offer to the best you can.

also seek legal advice, at least if not, for the possible theft of the things he took which he shouldnt have...
