in regards to If the spouse dies and also if then the other parner later dies as well, I jhave 2 children in UK and married.

For large numbers of people Inheritance Tax isn't an issue.
The threshold is £325000 for a single person. I understand that if a spouse dies his/her allowance is transferred to the wife/husband, bringing the surviving partner's allowance up to £650,000

I'm a bit puzzle dthough as to your scenario, given that the spouse died and then the partner - so i'm not sure where you fit in.
