No froth beer glass???

Hi, just got back from hols in thailand and we had a beer glass in which whatever way you poured the beer, the glass wouldnt let you get any forth or head on it. it was kind of bigger shaped at the bottom of glass and came out at the top. does anyone know where i can get one of these? have googled everything but cant find a thing! Thanks.

They probably had dirty glasses which killed the bubbles.

If your champagne is frothing over just touch the foam with your finger - the grease will rapidly knock the bubbles back.
It's the difference between nucleated and non-nucleated glasses.

nucleated glasses will give you froth, non-nucleated won't and the difference is the pattern you can see in the bottom of most pint glasses, if you look closely at a pint of beer (not for too long, don't want it going warm :)) the bubbles all come from the pattern.
