Me...........I'm having fish today, and I haven't even cut unto the Christmas cake yet.
Having more pork & turkey (cold). No other leftovers though.

Leftovers are for bad cooks ;-) If I go to a house that has lots of leftovers (or a fat dog), I don't eat.

Hi China, I've just heated up some homemade soup which was yesterday's starter, going to make a ham sandwich and then making roasts again with leftover turkey/beef/pork for later. (pure Nigella me..)
craft1948 is it homemade Christmas cake...?
Crikey Naz you'd never eat in mine then, my dog is a wee fatty. We call her fatheed.

No haysi for the first time it's a shop bought one as it's not really worthwhile baking a small one just for me. The trouble is it's so pretty I don't want to cut into it.
A Toad in the Hole today along with some Xmas cake made by my sister - she used to sell them into Harrods and they delicious.....too full yesterday to cut into her work of art.

And on turkey Naz has a point - its ok to eat today but I wouldnt go beyond tomorrow as the old bacteria can set in, as with any poultry. Far better to turn the remainder into a soup at the end of the day or make a risotto or turkey currey tonight to mop up anything remaining.

DTcrosswordfan, I was going to freeze some of the meats yesterday but forgot...
We have meat left over which is specifically for sandwiches but not sure if I fancy that for dinner or lunch today.
Well yes it is leftovers here, hot beef muffins and chips with luscious gravy and sautéed onions.

We've got a mountain of chocolate and sweets and choc fudge cake/cheesecake/profiteroles etc too China if you fancy any of that :P or pringles, and cheesey biscuits. Oh and copious amounts of vino collapso/cider/beer (think we were expecting an army)!

Hi mamyalynne, that sounds scrummy. I read on another thread that you're feeling a wee bit poorly, so hope you feel better soon.
Me,being single I only buy what is necessary.
I firmly believe that throwing away food after Christmas is a sin.

Hi Invictas, everything we bought is necessary....just a wee bit too much. It won't go to waste.::P Hope you had a lovely Christmas.

I'm away to pop open a wee bottle of fizz, enjoy Boxing day everyone. xx
Yes indeed and thanks for you good wishes haysi06.
Only me to please, and I can be such a fussy guest! LOL
Had home made muesli for breakfast; an apple for lunch and haven't made up my mind yet what to have for dinner. Could be homemade mushroom soup.
an apple for lunch doesnt sound very filling :o
Daren't do leftovers here as it's younger son's birfday. Might have leftover choco cake tomorrow if anyone fancies a slice :D
Haha, Cazz I was out walking so took the apple with me.
I was feeling really sluggish after yesterday so went for a long walk to clear my system.
