The FH is still looking for a job. He just saw one advertised for "Penetration tester". Unfortunately that brought Salla to mind.

He saw another ad recently that required him to "tell the customer one version of the truth".

and he filled in a Equality form recently when it asked for Sexual Orientation. The choices were "lesbian, gay, bisexual, heterosexual, transexual and other". We still can't for the life of us work out what "other" meant.

Have you got any daft job application/advertisement/title stories?

Only the one I seen for a golf ball collector - and they wanted you to send in your CV.
"and other" must mean asexual.
"... when it asked for Sexual Orientation ... We still can't for the life of us work out what "other" meant. "

Reverse cowboy?
... or maybe he should just have put, ''BAAAAAAA". ;-)
Seriously though, why would an employer wish to know that?
Naz, its so the employer can look at the stats regarding the sexual orientation of the staff to check nobody is being discriminated against. They ask for ethnic origins for the same reason. I`m not too sure what they are going to do when they get the stats though!

I wanted him to put "and how the hell is this any of your business?"
"..and other" might mean an appetite for necrophilia or bestiality. It takes all sorts.

Well perhaps we are just naive!! We did have some fun thinking of "other" though!
thanks !!

lol, I just thought it was the sort of job title that you would LOVE!
My son came across several where you had to send in a passport picture and the job was only working in an office!!!!!
On my last job application form where it said "sign here", I put Capricorn. I didn't get the job.
