Does anyone know why this is specifically aimed at the treatment of hand eczema? Why not eczema on any part of the body - what is the reason for it only stating hand?

I am assuming the side effects and potency are very similar to Roaccutane treatment for acne - definitely no pregnancy, avoid sunlight, side effects of dry lips & eyes etc. But whereas Roaccutane is used to treat acne on any part of the body, I am interested in why Toctino just specifies the hands.

thank you.

No idea.

Cost?

It could well be that hand eczema may be particularly resistant to topical steroids, whereas eczema elsewhere on the body responds better to steroids.

Sorry salla.....best I can do.
