Absolute magic and done with so much feeling
I am a massive U2 fan anyway so the song at the end was very poignant

mind you I did think Ian in EE was given a classic
'She's a walking STD advert' referring to Whitney..ha-ha
Was Rita doing an impression of Polly doing an impression of Basils wife in Fawlty Towers?
I thought the most moving part was when Graham was describing saying his final fairwell to Ashley. Contrasted strongly with all the hysterics. Very poignant.
I think the producers, cast and crew at Corrie deserve a very big WELL DONE! It's been gripping, but its a shame that couldn't have killed Mary & Dev off!
You can't kill Mary off! She and Norris are one of the best comedy double acts at the moment.
GET ME SOME ONIONS TO GO WITH THE TRIPE
Not a big fan of Corrie but the latest episodes were excellent.
Pleased Kylie was back.
mention has been made of the four funerals and a wedding tag line.....and peeps were wondering who the fourth to die would be.......

I may have got it wrong but during one episode two rescue workers were talking about a car driver, father of three, who had just died.....not a known character in the soap....so Peter could pull through after all......

This week has seen Corrers at its very best, but then it is always the best, but this week has been gripping.

I am waiting for the scene when Charlotte's parents run into John/colin at the hospital cos after all John/colin will be coming and going there for a while yet!
Excellent. Great credit to the whole Corrie team. And I wish people who didn't like Corrie didn't have to come on these threads with their inane comments. There is always one.
I must admit I've not been watching much of Corrie recently but watched this week and it was tremendously well done. I gret at every episode!
INANE? THAT SUMES UP THE SOAPS
I wish I'd made a note of it, but in one of the scenes shown in the compilation programme of stories over the past 50 years, there was one where a couple were coming down a staircase holding on to a banister which wobbled so much it would have done credit to Crossroads.
It was in the very first Episode, mike.
The tram driver actually lived, we were told during the week. So maybe he WILL get to have another part one day. Great dramatic week for the Street, The repercussions from this will carry on for some time to come I'm sure.
Have I missed something or how did the emergency services and hospital know that the body round the back with the faint pulse was Charlotte Hoyle and how were her parents informed?
