the Koreans just set fire to the garage.
seriously, got a small storage heater (and not a kerosene one)?

But most dogs are well equipped if you have plenty of blankets/straw in the kennel - they will "nestle" in
How about an aquarium or vivarium mat? Easy
if you us a heat mat make sure the dog can' t chew it and connect it to an rcd....could you bring the dog indoors?
I prefer heat lamps in a shed so the animal can choose whether to rest under it or not.

Thanks everyone. Naz - have you used one of these (not you personally!)? It sounds ideal.
I haven't, but I do know somebody that has. It was an outdoor kennel and seemed to do the job very well.
If you are going to use a heat lamp, make sure you get a 'dull emitter' one rather than a glass bulb one, as they can shatter if the dog comes in wet and shakes water onto it.
They give off heat but no light and are made of stuff that looks like the old fashioned red plant pots. You can hang them at different heights and the dog can choose whether to lie under them or not.
Errr, bring the dog indoors!!!!
I agree with Chaffinch. i have friends who have heated kennels, but have bought their dogs indoors in these extreme weather conditions.
