I need ideas for a fancy dress costume for a 10 year old boy - the theme is Christmas.I 'm rubbish at this sort of thing.

What about the boy from The snowman? Pyjamas, slippers and dressing gown - and a bag of water with a carrot and some bits of coal in it that is his melted snowman?

annie - that's brilliant! My son can then go straight to bed after the party AND have the carrot for his supper!

Job done! If he hasn't seen it, it will be on youtube somewhere - or even just see the bit that is featured in the Aled Jones song "walking in the air" - or even better, the Irn Bru advert!
