Hi Chris, and Chuck

Chris as you know I have previously posted this.

I am still having problems with the loss of programmes on my Sony TV's Electronic Programme Guide.

The TV has built in Freeview, and FreeSat, I have tuned all the programmes in again but still no joy.

Have either of you any ideas please, because I miss the EPG so much..

I honestly have no idea AOG.

Apologies if you've already posted it on an earlier thread, but what's the model of the TV as that would help in searching for any known problems. (and might help anyone who knows the answer off the top of their head)
Is your aerial plugged into the tv? Make sure it is not on a "splitter" (i.e. 2 tvs using the same aerial wall socket connection) as this can weaken the signal.
If I were you AOG I would contact Sony direct by ringing the number in this link.
You may have an earlier version of Sony Bravia iDTV which may need upgrading as the inbuilt Tuner is struggling to cope with the amount of Freeview Channels coming on air especially after this Digital switchover. Sony should be able to advise if you tell them the Model No of your TV.

Thank you Chuck, TTG, and redman for all your help.

But get out the bubbly, I've cracked it.

Although I had previously done this when the controls froze, that is I switched the TV off, pulled out the plug and waited 30 seconds before switching back on again, (I am told that fixes most things).

But no there still was no programmes on view, in frustration I repeatedly pressed the 'favourites' button, and hay presto they came back.

Now I don't know if it took some time for the programmes to appear after I had reset the TV, or if it was the pressing of the favourites button, who knows, but they are back and that's all that matters.

Thanks guys once again.
