Does anybody have any standard phone numbers for British Telecom that won't cost me 50p a minute from my mobile please. I can only find 0800s on their website and their online pages won't let me add another account.

BT only has 0800 numbers for customer contact.

Some mobile networks do allow 0800 access at their normal call rates - if yours is not one of them, I suggest you use a good old-fashioned call box to ring them.
Have a look on here: http://gethuman.com/

and here in particular: http://gethuman.com/B...omer-service_148.html

033 numbers are usually charged at local rates.

On the 0800 number you need to:

Press * 0 each time you hear an automated voice.

This should take you past all the menu systems and straight to a human.

All the best,

Yes there are lots of alternative numbers for BT on the "saynoto0870.com" site - depends which part of BT you want.
