I understand that the calculation for retail premises business rates is based on a number of different values.
Part is for the proportion of space at the shopfront, a lower figure is put on stockrooms and a further figure on first floors. There are probably others parameters also.
Does anyone know what these proportions are so that we could carry out our own appeal.
