About 'Daddy's Poem'

I thought I'd like to share it with you but Ed kept telling me it exceeded the limit. Evidently the limit is 2000 char's. (can the limit be exceeded? if so How?)


Then Den said about putting it on AB so I had to split it up into 3 parts as you see.
I hope it didn't spoil it for anyone.

love the poem, but couldn't speak at dad's funeral. can't hear the "last post" played without choking, or anything to do with old soldiers, as i do have a soft and squidgy side..

Mmmm! Perhaps I've redeemed myself, I felt a bit embarassed about it this morning because I was getting so much flack.
I wished to god I'd never posted it. Yes it is sentimental but also it helps us to understand how kids feel when faced with death. I think its a lessen well learnt.
