facebook games crashing

could someone please give me some ideas as to why my facebook games keep either freezing up (have tried i.e,chrome,firefox,its the same on all) or crashing.have got the latest flash and shockwave players installed,i just cant seem to figure out the cause,if anyone could shed some light i would be very grateful.
