Will a Christian go to church tomorrow and ask the congregation to pray for a limb regeneration miracle?

God says pray for anything, He can move a mountain if He wishes. I have never heard a prayer for limb regeneration at church. I am not seeking an actual limb regeneration. I do not wish to open up the old "whywontgodhealamputees.com" debate.
I have asked the question before on other forums and get complicated answers. I really just want a simple Yes or No answer to the question.
If you do answer yes, my Christian Challenge for church tomorrow: stand up in front of your congregation and ask the people to pray for limb regeneration.

And while your at it, how about praying for God to restore my virginity

Not that I have any complaints (or received any) about the first time . . . but with the knowledge I've gained since then I'm confident it could be even better on the next go round.
Didn't know you'd lost it Mibs!
Our Lord made the lame to walk, the blind to see and the dead to come forth from the tomb, so replacing Reason is the Reason's lost cherry must be like a stroll in the park for him.
I went to church and grew an extra leg once, does that count ? ;-)
Is your real name Jake?
For the benefit of those unlucky enough to be aged under 50 I attach the following:

My answer would be no, would you honestly expect to see a regenerated limb? It would be an interesting experiment to have a world-wide pray -in for the regeneration of limbs.
"Didn't know you'd lost it Mibs! "

To be perfectly honest Teddio . . . did it on me own.
At least the growing back of a limb could be classed as a genuine miracle.

The quality of "miracles" that the Catholic church will accept seems to be slipping, IMO.
The reason given that Cardinal Newman was deserving of Beatification. according to the church, was a single instance of an alleged "miracle cure" by a Catholic Deacon, who, suffering from stenosis, had a laminectomy. According to him, hearing that the church was seeking evidence of a miracle in order to beatify Newman, he prayed to Cardinal Newman to relieve him of his alleged extreme and -according to him and his devout catholic surgeon - untreatable pain, and was immediately rewarded by a warm feeling and cessation of pain.

I am amazed that it just takes one anecdote to generate a miracle, in the eyes of the catholic church.......
I have it on good authority that Newman would not have responded, absolutely hating the idea of beatification. Even made sure there were no relics to be found in his grave. Conscience first!
well he is a saint now whether he wanted it or not, that's the thing about omnipotence, anyone can be a saint.
A thought entered my mind re. mass praying to request miracles etc. Why is more than one prayer needed. It seems that the bigger the miracle the more praying is needed. A bit like titrating acid against alkali to achieve neutrality. It all seems a bit mechanistic and follows a strange logic. I may have got it completely wrong and only one prayer is needed but the others are to make the redundant prayers feel useful or even good. Another way of looking at it is that most of the prayers aren't devout enough to do any good but you might get one good one out of a million that works. There again it could be that some people have stronger prayers than others so you need a lot of poor prayers to equal a good one. There are probably even more possible explanations but I think I may have made my point by now.
^^ Ha ha!

God: All right!! Enough already!!
It will not happen in this system...but it will in Jehovah's NEW [ incoming] KINGDOM...
There is only one way this scripture can be interpreted...
(Job 33:25) Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.’
People in the KINGDOM will, if they are old, grow younger...there would not be much point in having fresh FLESH and skin IF ANY PART was missing...
If animals have the ability to grow limbs again, WHY NOT US?
