my partner has been very very sore on his armpits lately and very itchy, at first we thought it was down to a deoderant he was using so changed it, when that didnt ease it we also changed showergels ect to milder baby brands. None of this has made any difference and he is now really suffering with it. It looks like excema (excuse the spelling) although this is not confirmed by doctor but does anyone have a recommendations on how to ease this if it is, hes using E45 like no tomorrow but its not helping. Thanks

E45 is ok,i use sudocream for a flare up,but really the doctor should prescribe a steroid to ease it...
Could be any number of skin complaints, psoriasis, impetigo etc. Best to go to the docs I think.

i hope its not bloody impetigo, i had my face shoved in his armpit last night lol
However you get youre kicks lol...
Sounds like a fungal infection get some Lamisil Cream 1% and that should do the trick.
Yep,its warm moist area probably fungal...
whatever it is I'm sure it will benefit from not having shower gel and deoderants etc for a while - just use pure soap - I know it's difficult with the deo thing but it won't help putting all sorts of chemicals on the area and blocking up sweat glands.
Suggest a trip to the doc - or go see your local pharmacist - for a proper diagnosis! This is a US site but the doc there recommends hydrocortizone cream http://www.medhelp.or...r-armpits/show/706361
