I have numersous templates that I have been using at my place of work for some time. In the last 2 weeks or so a peculiar problem has aroze.

When I copy a worksheet in a workbook and try and copy it to within that workbook or to another workbook the process takes a very long time. Sometimes up to 5 minutes. This just happened like I said about 2 to 3 weeks ago. I have uninstalled Microsoft Office and re-installed but to no avail.

There was another person in the company who was having the same problem but for some reason it just stopped and went back to normal.

Any suggestions.

i think it is to do with the 'free (or virtual) memory' of your PC.  The more memory a computer has the more efficiently it runs.  If you are just using office pc's they probably have the minimum amount of memory required to run meaning that problem slike this can occur from time to time. you will just have to live with the problem unless you moan to your IT department about wanting more RAM!
Haven't got an answer but a caution, back up anything that you dont' want to lose forever, i recently experienced my PC taking longer and longer to do things, then the hard drive crashed! Lost everything.
Check the size of your template. I regularly create spreadies for useless colleagues and quite often find that my 25k database is soon 20mb after they have messed round with it. Are you using the copy workbook function on the tabs at the bottom?
