Dear Ed
If it is practicable might you please extend the list on the right hand side of the page showing Latest Posts? That list changes frequently and it's very easy to miss out on recent interesting topics. Thanks.

Or, better yet, if there could be an option to "See the Preceding Latest Posts Display" - cos it's so annoying when something catches your eye only to disappear before you can click on it. (And that would still happen, I guess, even if the list were extended.)
How about something on the front page which told you what the most popular threads were today? That might go some way to keeping popular threads in view.

We are still thinking of ways to make the site more "live" than it is now. Any further suggestions?
That may be a good option ED. ' Welcome to AB Box' could be extended to include the most popular Posts of the Day.
I've always wanted the thread most recently posted on to be moved to the top of the page as it is in most other forums. Would that be possible?
Click on recently answered at the top of any section daffy and it will do just that.
I want it to do it automatically though Chuck. lol
I agree with the OP's point. It is fairly easy to retrieve a thread if you manage to spot the category in which it is posted, but it is so easy to miss that. Just a suggestion, but how feasible would it be to add another category to the Topics list reading "All", whereby all posts would be published there as well as in the sub-category?
We'll be adding something similar to this to the front page Mike11111 - but it is likely to exclude Chatterbank and Q&P (otherwise it would just be flooded in seconds and appear identical to those categories).

I understand what you mean Daffy, it is more usual to be ordered in the other way! We'll have to have a long think about that!

Any more suggestions - the more mental the better quite frankly!

All the best,

Spare
Fair comment. Q and P ones are quite easy to identify, so for the rest, if it isn't in "All" it must be in Chatterbank. Simples, really.
