Are there any significant colours or icons relevant to eid or diwali? Are there any colours or icons that should be avoided at eid and diwali?

I think you are going to have to resort to google as the ABers either don't know or don't care. By now you should have got a facetious comment, a comment from somebody who misunderstood the question and an answer that has been posted on the wrong thread. Are you thinking of wearing the same costume to both parties?
Green for Eid, green is the holy colour for Muslims. Diwali is the festival of lights, so lots of candles, tinsel, bright colours.
PS Eid's been, a couple of weeks ago, so you missed that party, until the next one!
Both are supposed to be happy occasions and therefore bright colours will do.
