Hi lozzzz
We took him on Monday for a biopsy thing where they drew fluid out from the lump for testing. We get the results on Friday.
He was well behaved and they didn't have to put him out ,they also gave him an antibiotic. So it's just a case of wait and see.
He is his normal self and the lump doesn't appear to be painful so am keeping everything crossed that it is just a fatty growth or cyst type thing. Will keep you posted and thank you for your concern.
Hope Parker is O.K. Have a good day. X

fingers crossed for you too then..let me know how it goes.

im dog sitting my mums dog daisy today, she tolerates parker so he's a bit subdued, daisy was a rescue dog and even 3 years on she has strange people and dog issues, but she a beautiful, well behaved lady, unlike scrappy old parker.

Hi again Lozzzz

Vet phoned with the results this morning..It's just a benign fatty lump.Huge sigh of relief all round.I have to keep an eye on it ..if it does get any bigger then it will have to be removed but for the time being it's O.K. Mucho costo but I would never forgive myself it had been anything untoward and I hadn't had him looked at.
Thanks once again for your concern.

oh thants great news, such a relief i bet, cost doesnt really come into it though does it?parker is insured up to the hilt, full comp and all,I remember when we'd had parker only a week or so and i found a lump on his tummy,it turned out to be an umbilical hernia, but I was terrified at first,

spoil you boy rotten this weekend...

We are so relieved it was nothing serious. He is of course completely spoilt anyway but he had a tin of sardines this evening as an extra treat and a run on the beach and a swim this afternoon. I had only been taking him for short walks as I didn't know if this lump hurt him to walk or wether them sticking a needle into it might have made it painful .Alls well that ends well.Have a good weekend Lozzzz and give Parker a pat from me X
