For weight loss and cellulite reduction is it better/faster/more effective etc to do 20 mins on a Powerplate 3/4 times a week or to go to the gym for 60 mins (45 mins cardio 15 mins weights) 3/4 times a week. I've heard a lot of people say using the Powerplate is just like going to the gym for an hour ... but is this actually true?!?!?! Also would the Powerplate have less benefits for fitness and make it slower to lose weight.

Would really like to know what's best to do. Thanks : )

You`re not exercising your heart and lungs by using a Powerplate so you`re not burning off the calories, nor are you improving your fitness. Burn the calories by aerobic exercise and tone up the underlying muscles with the powerplate or other repetitive exercise.
Agree with 237SJ.

The powerplate only tones muscle and doesn't give any beifit to weightloss other than firming up and toneing.
The best way to lose weight is to eat less fat. Losing weight quickly is not a healthy option and 2 pounds per week is the safe limit. Yur body has the ability to lower it's metabolic rate if it senses a sudden loss of nutrient and you end up eating less and putting on weight!!
