I am after a rough guide for pet insurance for 2 rabbits! I know I could get quotes from several websites and companies, but it requires giving my details such as address and phone numbers and I know full well I'll be bombarded with calls and junk mail!

Could anyone be kind enough to tell me a rough estimate please?

Rabbits are likely to be mongrel breads and females! Thank you x

"mongrel breads and females!" No males then?
Question Author
No, been advised not to get males because of their temperament and the fact that they spray urine when in season!

At a push a male and female, but that would mean spading male and I don't want to!

Sorry, did I offent any male rabbits? lol!
I would be offended if you went around "spading" males!!!

try just spaying or castration a lot more humane :-)

Oh alright smarty pants! Any idea on insurance?
I don't want to be heartless but given the price of a rabbit is it really worth it?
Pinkypie you are quite safe giving your details on line, any reputable company will have a box on the application forms which you can tick to say you don't want mailings either from them or "carefully selected partner companies". As for companies, there are many - PetPlan, Tesco, there are loads of rabbit insurance comparison prices sites here http://www.google.co....=&fp=9c494d436b7467d7

Thank you for that, I will have a look at a few quotes online.

Also fairkatrina, that's not the first time I've been told that and I guess there is a point to it, but these rabbits are for my children and I don't think I could really put them through upset if I can have treatment for them.

After doing more research I might have more of an idea about what these policies cover as I' sure they don't cover run of the mill stuff!

Tanks anyways x
