Does anyone know of a site that gives information on the merits - or not - of the different types of house insulation. It is a wooden house where I need to supplement the existing(!?) insulation in the loft, the walls and floating floors. It is subject to sub zero temperatures between late September and April. With there being a bit of a language problem I am unable to discuss it with local Tradesmen, so I'm hoping that the legion of A.B. Experts will be able to point me in the right direction.I am limited on one flank to the amount of extra thickness I can add, due to surrounding eaves etc.
Thanks for your references. I have been inclining towards the TLX mutli-foil insulation but have heard that recently, doubt has been cast on the efficiency claims made for the product. More research!!!! Although a further problem is that it doesn't seem to be available where I am!!!!
