my little dog is around 15 years old and is starting to walk 'gingerly' with her back legs. If I started giving her cod liver oil capsules would it help her mobility or is it too late now?

Thanks

Take her to the vet they can prescribe pills which will make her more comfortable.
My vet recommended Glucosomane and Chrondroitin which you can buy on line. My vet recommended that too! Cod liver oil are not medically recognised to help. At 15 years old it probably is arthritis, but worth getting her checked over with the vet in case there is any other problem.
p.s. My GP recommended them for me as well ;o(
I agree with Lottie.
My girl had rimadyl and for her it was total magic. I know it doesn't suit all dogs but when it works it takes years off.
I would also use Glucosamine and Chronditin.

A word of warning on Rimadyl........http://home.online.no/~roeysla
