A 53 year old man. 17 stone with all the fat around his middle - a big beer belly in fact (though slim(ish) everywhere else.).
Smokes 20 to 30 a day. Drinks too much, especially beer and wine. Has a sedentary job. Has abused his body over the years by not lifting heavy weights in the proper manner etc.
Blood pressure 190/100.
Chronic low back pain. Developing prostate problems. Chest pain.
Would you want to be in his shoes? What would you do in his family's shoes, bearing in mind the man himself has no inclination to stop smoking or drinking?
