'Spanish'???

"All that glisters is not gold" is a line from Shakespeare's 'Merchant of Venice', said by the Prince of Morocco.

Wandsworth Bridge, as a ten-second Google search would have told you...
Wandsworth?
WANDSWORTH????? What have yo been drinking tonight, Mark? ;-)

Anyway, the reference is not to WESTMINSTER bridge itself but to the view of London from it.
Lots of Spaniards moved to Morocco during the Inquisition, so could the Prince of Morocco just about be Spanish? I don't know the date of the setting of the MofV.
LOL! Apologies - Westminster Bridge it is...
How to massacre the classics in one easy thread :)
oh Mark, you're such a let down ;o)
I thought it was someone else who was complaining about their Google search bar earlier on, perhaps it's catching, MR!
No, just carelessness...
Go on MR, Wandsworth Bridge has an air of Porridge about it.... (well, to me, anyway)
