Hi, I am going to uninstall Norton from my PC/Laptop so I can install McAfee, what is the best method to use? Should I download the Uninstall Tool from the Norton website or should I simply uninstall it by hand using the prompts/information from my Help page?
Thank you.

Thank you for your answers, as always I appreciate your time x
In some cases, if you use the 'uninstall' for programs you lose DLL (library files)....that can impair other software sharings.
I have had success by downloading a free patch that completes the uninstall - just google for 'patch to uninstall norton AV' or similar.
It's a little B to get rid of, isn't it!
get the discs, put them all back in that nice yellow box and personally uninstall it down at the local recycling centre, best place for it
sell on ebay - plenty of mugs out there with more money than sense!
