I have been invited to a wedding and inside the invitation is a card for a gift list at a local NEXT branch, I have never chosen a gift from a couples wedding list before and not sure how this works or how to go about it, do I have to purchase a gift from NEXT or can I get something else for them that is a bit more personal ?

You may get exactly what you wish to give them. The gift list is to give people an idea of what the couple need or would like to receive but you dont have to choose from it or shop at that store.

I was invited to a wedding once and barely knew either the bride or the groom. They had their own pub, so I pretty much figured they'd got all the usual stuff they needed. I bought them matching fragrances (Eternity). They loved it, fortunately.
