Has anyone any useful little tricks and tips that people wouldn't know? For example someone, I think chuckfickens, said once that by holding ctrl and + or - you can enlarge or reduce the webpage you are viewing which I found cool. Are there any others?

Many people don't seem to know about triple-clicking in Microsoft Word. If you place the cursor OUTSIDE of the text area and single-click it highlights all text in the line next to the cursor. Double-clicking highlights the paragraph next to the cursor. Triple-clicking selects everything.

Carlton, IE has no tick box for the avator.....think you need to
1.click (imaginary tick) top left when you open your profile/Edit User (just above your name).
2.Choose avator & return to profile page
3. press submit at bottom of profile page
4. Ctrl and F5 to bring up avator or re-boot pc.
// tamborine. I try and try, but for some unknown reason it goes through all the procedure and even sends me an e-mail that I click my acknowledgment to, but.... `nuffint`... so I have given up trying //.

Me the same carlton23, been asking the Ed all day today, still no luck!
If Chris doesn't solve the IE problem I suggest your download firefox; it's much faster with more features.

A handy tip I often use in Internet Explorer is, if you want to look at a website that is www. (something) .com, you can just type the (something) and then press CTRL+ENTER and it fills the www and com in for you.

Not sure if this works in Firefox.
